Lana Hudeček is a scientific advisor with a permanent title at the Institute of Croatian Language and Linguistics. She is the manager of the Croatian Online Dictionary – Mrežnik (2017-2021 Croatian Science Foundation research project, and an internal project of the Institute since 2022) and a co-leader of the internal Institute projects: Religious spelling and orthograpy and Masculine and Feminine in the Croatian Language. HEr primary areas of expertise include the Croatian stanadrd language and language norms, Croatian syntax, lexicography, and terminology. She is the author and co-author of numerous books and scientifric papers. She has actively participated in numerous domestic and international projects including Small school spelling and orthoraphy, Suport to Curricular reform in Croatia – phase 4, and the Terminographic Databes TERM_IN. Slavic Terminography. In recognition of her work, she recieved six awards: 2012 Dr Ivan Šreter Award, 2013 and 2020 City of Zagreb Award, 2014, 2017 and 2018 Ivan Filipović Award.
